The Furnace Creek 508 is one of the premiere ultra distance cycling events in California. This year I will be competing again on a two man relay team. My stages will total 285 miles and 18,500 feet of climbing.See the website for our Praire Dog team. Two weeks earlier I completed the Everest Challenge. This event involves 29,035 feet of climbing in two back to back days. It was the most challenging event I have ever taken on.
